PEOPLE ARE PROMPTED TO SEEK THERAPY FOR DIFFERENT REASONS.

It may be a major life event, such as the loss of a loved one or a divorce. It may be something vaguer, such as experiencing painful or sad emotions without a clear cause, or feeling unfulfilled in life or at work. I provide a space where you can explore the origins of emotions in order to better understand them.

My goal is to help the people that I work with gain a better understanding of reasons why they may repeat certain patterns of behavior, as this can lead to feelings of being “stuck,” anxious, or unfulfilled. People often discover that ways of managing emotions or coping with stressors that worked for them early in their lives are no longer effective as they move into adulthood. This can lead to feeling that life is unmanageable or overwhelming.
