Fees and Insurance

I generally schedule regular once or twice weekly appointment times with established clients. Should you need to miss a regularly scheduled appointment time, I would attempt to reschedule it within the same week. If unable to reschedule, you would be financially responsible for missed sessions unless other arrangements have been made. It is important to note that insurance companies do not cover missed sessions, and you would be responsible for the full fee after a missed session.

I am currently an “in network” provider with UnitedHealthcare and CIGNA. For all other insurance companies, I would be considered an “out of network” provider. If you have out of network benefits, I can provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. It would be important to contact your insurance company to determine whether I am an in network provider and, if not, whether you have out of network benefits. I would be happy to go over this process with you.

We would discuss fees and insurance arrangements at the first session. Unless we agree otherwise, fees or copays are due at the beginning of each session.
